The Hitachi TM4000 desktop SEM is intuitive and user friendly with many built in safety features that ensure user and system safety. With teacher support, preschool aged children can utilise the technology to view their samples. Older students can even load and view their own samples quite independently. The Learning Lab has been utilized by all year levels from preschool to Year 12 students in a wide variety of investigations.

• Tertiary

Several University and Tafe groups have utilised the Learning Lab for investigations at their sites.

• Events

The Learning Lab is available to attend special events, including large scale exhibitions. Annually we have attended Science Alive!, National Science Week, South Australian and Queensland Museums, Wildlife Parks, Scout Jamborees and other Science related expos.
